Cookie

The almighty cookie.

And half eaten:

This post is in response to Saba’s comment regarding the cookie. It is a similar cookie to the one I had after just before lunch that day, which ruined my appetite.

I believe it is made up of oats and raisins – it is listed in the Food Centre as "Cookies Granola 400g", brand Antikovich. I can’t really tell as the ingredients list is all in hebrew:

Lunch – apricot chicken

Today, I had an peach apricot chicken dish, with some chickpea green beans salad and a cauliflower:

Restaurant – Litchi

Last night we went out to a restaurant (Litchi, in the Merkaz) for dinner with Saba and Sieni. They have Japanese and Thai cuisine, as well as some seafood dishes. Here’s Saba’s soup:

I wasn’t hungry as I had had my sandwiches from lunch, so I ordered just a desert (crème roulé, with pineapple slices):

Lunch – mushroom pasta

For lunch today, I decided to try the pasta (with mushroom and garlic):

It was pretty good. Also packed a couple of sandwiches for dinner – there was no long brown bread, only the white kind – oh well.

I also had a slice of quiche, which tasted a little eggy:
