    • The typology of the modes of revelation is richly symbolic November 23, 2009
Whatever is revealed by the Point hath been designated as the "Bayan." However, this name referreth in its primary reality to the divine verses, and in its secondary reality to prayers, third to commentaries, fourth to educational forms, and fifth to the Persian words. Yet, this exalted appelation, on the basis of its intrinsic worth, solely denote […]

Even during those crowded days in London the Master never appeared tense or frustrated, wondering how He could do all that seemed to be required of Him. He knew His purpose and thus all things fell into their proper perspective. Before He left London in 1913 at the close of His second visit, He gave a talk at Cadogan Gardens, clearly stating that teaching th […]

Games night

Last night I went to Shingo, Amelia and Shiori’s house where we had a wonderful dinner and played some board games.

We split into two groups, the first playing a number of games:

And the second, which I was a part of, playing Power Grid:

We played with 6 players, and the one game took well over 2 hours. Very nice game though:

Thanks a lot to everyone who was there, I had a great time.

Dinner – Nando’s

Last night we went out to one of the shopping malls here in Haifa, called Grand Kanyon. Kanyon in Hebrew means "mall", so it has nothing to do with the Grand Canyon in the States.

After walking around and doing some shopping, it was time for dinner. We ate at a place called Nando’s. You can see the sign in Hebrew behind everyone:

There was a rice with chicken dish:

But I had the chicken and chips:

Quite filling, but of course to top it off:

And here I am drinking it:

There are Nando’s restaurants all over the world, although apparently not in the States for some reason. I’ve been to some in Australia, and I think their chicken tastes better there than here in Israel. But Nando’s are known for their really good sauce – I think you can even buy the sauce individually and take it home.

This sums it up, from their website (which has a cool flash intro):
