    • The typology of the modes of revelation is richly symbolic November 23, 2009
Whatever is revealed by the Point hath been designated as the "Bayan." However, this name referreth in its primary reality to the divine verses, and in its secondary reality to prayers, third to commentaries, fourth to educational forms, and fifth to the Persian words. Yet, this exalted appelation, on the basis of its intrinsic worth, solely denote […]

Even during those crowded days in London the Master never appeared tense or frustrated, wondering how He could do all that seemed to be required of Him. He knew His purpose and thus all things fell into their proper perspective. Before He left London in 1913 at the close of His second visit, He gave a talk at Cadogan Gardens, clearly stating that teaching th […]

Lunch – fish and chips

For lunch today: Fish, Chips, and some canned peach. Oh, and tartare sauce:

Here’s the fish:

And the chips:

And the peach:

As you may have noticed, I forgot to get any water – so Navid kindly brought me some – but during the course of lunch I hit the glass over by mistake and had it pour over my tray. Unfortunately, there is no photo of that incident, but instead here’s a photo of Ross’s plate – looks good!

Lunch – chicken and beef

The story today: I saw the chicken from yesterday, which I liked, so I took a generous amount:

Then I realised that the beef dish looked really good… so I stood in deep thought for a second or two, then did what every food lover should! Took both:

So, I had a delicious meal full of protein. Also of note are the great looking deserts which others had – banana custard:

And some rich looking chocolate cake:

Dinner and Scrabble night

Last night we went over to Saba and Sieni’s. We cooked some food, and ate it. Here’s Navid helping with gratering carrots:

Saba washing the dishes:

I’m doing something with the chicken – not really sure what:

And we ended up with a rice and chicken dish! The girls made the salad – it’s all about the sauce:

I had to finish the rest of the food:

So I could get to that piece of chocolate:

Yep, the one in the middle. Then, we played scrabble:

It’s a great game – you actually feel like you haven’t totally wasted your time! Amazing! Our resulting board:

Sieni won this game – congratulations! Till next we meet.

Lunch – salmon and a patty?

Wednesday, fish and chips day. Lovely salmon, as usual:

I also tried this wierd looking veggie patty:

It tasted like a spinach patty, if there is such a thing. I also put one in my sandwich. Here it is along with some desert:

And, the elusive ketchup:
