I had a wonderful time, got to meet Navid’s parents again, partook of wonderful Persian food and got some sleep too! What I saw of Michigan was so green, beautiful, calm and serene.

Midland, MI, USA: Arrived at 5:49pm Friday 16 June 2006. Visiting Navid’s parents in Mount Pleasant for the night, then off to Chicago tomorrow morning at 10:24am. Chicago, IL, USA: Arrived 12:10pm, waiting for a 3:45pm flight to Midland, Michigan. UPDATE: A relatively long and full flight, did manage to get an hour or two of slumber.

Travel update: transit in Frankfurt

Frankfurt, Germany: Arrived 9:00am, waiting for a 10:20am flight to Chicago. UPDATE: Smooth easy flight. There were a bunch of empty seats so it was quite comfortable.
