I’m still reading “The Mission of Bahá’u’lláh” by George Townshend, as the opportunity arises. One of the articles talks about the letters ‘Abdu’l-Bahá wrote, providing a nice overview of the themes He covered. I’m fascinated by sufi poetry, at least the ones I’ve seen of Attar and Rumi. They portray a very mystical aspect of the love relationship man has with God, using interesting stories and the Persian style of poetry. There are a number of Bahá’í Holy days, two of them being the Birth of the Báb and the Birth of Bahá’u’lláh. At the Bahá’í World Center we celebrate these using the lunar calendar, where they always follow each other – hence the "twin" Holy days. This year they were on 31 January and 1 February. [...]
